Iran Reiterates No Hostile Relations with Gulf Neighbors

The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement calling on neighboring countries on the southern shore of the Persian Gulf to take measures to prevent their land, waters, and airspace from being used for military actions against Iran, in order to avoid escalating regional conflicts. The statement emphasized that Iran does not wish for the United States and Israel to exacerbate tensions and suspicions among regional countries. Iran stressed that there are no hostile relations with neighboring countries and believes that the only way to achieve lasting regional security is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation, while jointly maintaining regional stability without foreign military presence and external interference.
