AI Cloud and Data Center Stocks Strongly Rebound, IREN Up 19.69%
On July 21, stocks related to AI cloud and data centers showed a significant rebound. IREN rose by 19.69% after the company signed new AI cloud service contracts and raised its annual recurring revenue target to over $4 billion, with clients including Microsoft, NVIDIA, Perplexity, and Figure. Hut 8 (HUT) increased by 10.45% due to a 15-year lease agreement for AI data centers worth $9.8 billion; Cipher Mining (CIFR) rose by 16.76%, CleanSpark (CLSK) by 13.7%, and WhiteFiber (WYFI) by 9.18%. In contrast, Nebius (NBIS) and CoreWeave (CRWV) did not show significant gains. Serenity believes that news of Kimi's computing power shortage and new contracts are catalytic factors driving the recovery of new AI cloud service providers and data center hosting companies.
